My she was yar

Grids rock.

There’s always that person in class who is quick to be critical of everyone else’s work.  If you’re going to do that you better make damn sure that your stuff is perfect.  Because if it isn’t, it just makes you suck that much more.  We did grid replicas in class last week.  I chose this pic of Katharine Hepburn because I think her expression captures perfectly the type of woman she is; she doesn’t take life too seriously.  She also got flack for her fashion sense because she was a bit  unpolished.  I love outsiders.

This drawing is outstanding; and those girls are always the worst anyway, they never end up good…. so don’t worry ! :)

frankly I agree with someone who said that “katherine
hepburn was a mean dyke”, and that’s after reading her bio.

Gorgeous sketch! I love Philadelphia story, and of course Katherine Hepburn. When she wore that gardening jacket to the Oscars, I thought it was brilliant!

i love your blog. love. it. love it.

this drawing is fan-freakin-tastic. i’m also intrigued to hear more about who in your class is so quick to criticize other peoples’ work. i had a few people like that in my fashion sketching classes. their work always sucked balls. i figure that’s why they did all the criticizing… make them feel better about themselves. anyway, since i just now found your blog, i have to go check out a bunch more of your posts. cheers.
